Why is Autologous The Safest Treatment
For Back Pain?
Stem cells are what doctors call “undifferentiated cells.” Think of a piece of clay that doesn’t have a shape of its own, but which can be molded into any shape. Stem cells are just like that – they take on the shape and function of the cells where they are injected. This high versatility makes stem cells extremely beneficial for medical treatments.
Injury to the back results in the joints, tissues, and ligaments getting damaged or diseased. Such a condition can reduce their structural strength and health, and it is this which causes back pain. The only way to treat this cellular damage is to replace the old, dying cells with fresh ones.
Stem cells, when injected into your back, will transform into the back cells, where they were injected. They replace the old cells and help regenerate the tissues, ligaments, and joints in your back. In addition to this, stem cells contain an anti-inflammatory protein, which brings down the swelling and tenderness in your back. This helps your back heal and allows you to experience a reduction in back pain.
CellSpark Regenerative Centers’
Stem Cell Therapy
At CellSpark Centers, Dr. Alex Spinoso, MD, and his team of professionals are highly experienced in Autologous therapy. They will use Autologous therapy to treat your severe back pain and help you manage your symptoms.
This is a completely non-surgical and minimally-invasive treatment that starts with medical consultation. First, our team will identify if you are an ideal candidate for the Autologous Therapy treatment or not. Once we determine that you are eligible for the procedure, we identify the areas of the back where the injections will be given.
What To Expect
From The Procedure
The treatment addresses the deeper muscles, joints, and ligaments that are the source of the pain and treat the damage in these parts of the body. Dr. Alex Spinoso, MD, is one of Nevada’s Autologous expert’s . With him by your side, your days of backaches will be over.
Before the treatment, your back will be numbed using an anesthetic. Next, you will be asked to lay down on your abdomen, and depending on where the pain is at its worst, the Autologous Therapy will be given either on both sides of the spinal cord, in the lower back, or at the base of your neck.
The entire therapy takes less than a half-hour to complete. You can immediately return home or to work, but it is recommended that you keep the physical activity light and try to maintain an erect posture after the treatment. This ensures that your Autologous Therapy have the best chance of facilitating muscle/joint recovery.
What Life Is Like
After The Procedure
It can take up to 6 weeks, and sometimes longer, for your back pain to fully heal. Until then, you will notice how the pain gets more manageable over the course of a few weeks.
You can resume your normal active lifestyle about two months after the treatment. By this time, your stem cells will have regenerated into healthy back muscles, discs, or ligaments and will be capable of supporting your body, completely free of pain.
