Your shoulder is responsible for a lot of the arm movements you are able to do. Injury to the shoulder cannot only cause extreme pain and discomfort, but it can also affect the quality of your life. If you’ve been suffering from terrible shoulder pain as a result of an illness or injury for a long period of time and if other treatments haven’t yielded results, it’s time you try something new.
At CellSpark, we are one of the leading centers in Las Vegas stem cell therapy for shoulder pain. Not to mention a leading therapy clinic in Henderson, Nevada. Our team of doctors and scientists, led by Dr. Alex Spinoso, MD, has spent years developing a powerful stem cell therapy treatment procedure that is designed to treat shoulder injuries and shoulder pain.
After the treatment, you will notice an immediate reduction in the pain you experience. Visit our Henderson clinic today to schedule an appointment.
What Is A
The human body is made up of numerous types of cells. In most cases, these cells are specialized to fulfill a particular function. For example, nerve cells make up the nervous system; endothelial cells form the layer/barrier between tissues and blood vessels, etc.
There is a type of non-specialized or undifferentiated cells called the stem cells, which don’t have any specific associated task. These cells are used to replace other cells when those cells get damaged, diseased, or die.
Stem cells have the ability to take on the shape and function of any part of the body, essentially transforming from a completely non-specialized cell to a specialized cell. This feature of being able to change shape and mimic the function of absolutely any cell makes stem cells highly versatile. In the case of any injury, stem cells can be used to replace the injured or diseased cells, helping that body part become stronger and healthier.
The Role Of Stem Cell Therapy In
Shoulder Pain Treatment
Normally, shoulder pain occurs due to numerous reasons:
- Shoulder sprain
- Rotator cuff tear
- Cartilage tear
- Arthritis in the shoulder
- Pinched nerve
- Inflamed tendons
- Broken or dislocated shoulder
In these instances, stem cells can be injected into your body, to treat the swollen, torn, or diseased tissues, ligaments, cartilages, or tendons. The stem cells will take on the shape and function of the cells in the shoulder and will heal your entire shoulder, eliminating pain completely. If shoulder pain is the result of spinal injury, you can inject the stem cells into or near the spinal cord and experience relief from shoulder pain and other associated symptoms.
Our Therapy Procedure At
CellSpark Regenerative Centers
The team at CellSpark Regenerative Centers has developed a safe, hygienic, and body-friendly method to inject stem cells into the body. We provide arguably the best Las Vegas stem cell therapy for shoulder pain available.
We start our treatment with a medical evaluation to check whether you are eligible for stem cell therapy or not. Typically, anyone with a chronic shoulder injury and with no severe medical conditions can undergo stem cell therapy. Dr. Alex Spinoso, MD – our founder and medical director – will be available for consultation.
Next, we identify the areas around the shoulder, the base of the neck, the arm, and the spine, where the stem cells need to be injected. Sometimes, shoulder pain occurs as a result of pain that radiates from another part of the body. We provide a local anesthetic to numb the injection site. Then, the stem cells are gently injected into the treatment area. The entire procedure can be completed in under half an hour.
What To Expect After
The First Session
The stem cell treatment for shoulder pain is completely non-invasive and safe and there’s very little downtime. Once the procedure is complete, you will be allowed to drive yourself back home or to work. You are advised not to lift anything or raise/rotate your shoulders too much for a week or two after the treatment. This will allow the stem cells to get to work and heal your injury and pain.
You will begin to feel lesser pain in the shoulder a few days after the treatment, but the full results of the therapy can be seen only after two months. During this time, you don’t need a second session of therapy. In fact, the best thing about stem cell therapy is that once the stem cells are injected, they replicate and grow in number in the place they are injected. You will only need to visit our clinic for your regular post-procedure follow-ups.
